For Wayne Gretzky, the first time he held up the Stanley Cup was a moment he would never forget. While the 1983-1984 season was not Wayne Gretzkys personal best in terms of stats it was by far his most memorable with his first Stanley Cup win. Along with winning his first Stanley Cup Gretzky put up an astonishing 205 points (87 goals and 118 assists) and a mind blowing +/- rating of +78. The 1984 Stanley Cup Title was just the beginning for Gretzky as he would lead the Oilers to titles in 3 of the next 4 years, winning a total of 4 Stanley Cup titles in 5 years from 1983-1988.
